Zyah Reeves

ZYAH is making a name for herself in Dallas as a solo artist and songwriter. She has written for several acts including RC & The Gritz (backing band for Erykah Badu), Tony Williams (writer and vocalist for Kanye West) and Blue, The Misfit (music producer for Kendrick Lamar). As a performer, Zyah has played at some of the most renowned venues in Dallas including House of Blues, Trees and The South Side Ballroom in the past year alone. She recently signed an independent record deal and is currently working on her Debut Album with some of the best musicians and engineers in the country including Leland Elliot (engineer for Taylor Swift, Lionel Richie and Willie Nelson).

Zyah started singing and playing piano at the age of 4 and by the age of 13 she had already begun touring with competitive all-city choirs and bands. In her adolescence, she developed her music literacy at various private lesson studios which led to her studies with Alfred Mouledous at Southern Methodist University. As her passion for songwriting developed, Zyah fell in love with Jazz and Pop musical styles. She amplified her singer-songwriter skills by studying Jazz Piano Theory at the University of North Texas and pursuing voice lessons at the Septien School of Music. Zyah is great with kids and has extensive experience working with children of all ages to help them reach their highest potential.
