Sangsoo Kim
A natural teacher with a beautiful spirit, South Korean pianist Sangsoo Kim has several years of teaching experience in the US and Korea. He has taught all ages and stages; from pre-k through adult learners, and all levels from beginner through advanced.
Sangsoo earned his M.M. in Piano Performance and Performance Diploma from the prestigious Indiana University under Emile Naoumoff. While at IU, he earned a Graduate Program Scholarship for two years, an award in Artistic Excellence and worked as an Associate Instructor for the school of music where he taught both private lessons as well as group classes.
In August 2020 Sangsoo started his Doctoral degree at The University of North Texas under renowned and beloved instructor, Dr. Pamela Mia Paul. He is currently working as a Teaching Fellow for group and private lessons of college music majors and non-majors, as well as studying pedagogy (teaching) with Dr. Brad Beckman.
Sangsoo is excited to be joining the faculty of The Centre for Musical Minds and looks forward to helping each student realize their musical dreams.
